General Information
Estonia is located in Northern Europe Europe bordering Russia and Latvia. Its capital and largest city is Tallinn. Estonia is both a member of the European Union and the Schengen Agreement. They drive on the right side of the road.

Climate
Estonia is situated in the northern part of the temperate climate zone and in the transition zone between maritime and continental climate. Average temperatures range from 16.3 °C (61.3 °F) on the islands to 18.1 °C (64.6 °F) inland in July, the warmest month, and from −3.5 °C (25.7 °F) on the islands to −7.6 °C (18.3 °F) inland in February, the coldest month.

How to get there?
The biggest airport in Estonia is Tallinn Airport (TLL). You shouldn’t have any trouble flying to Tallinn from anywhere in Europe. Once in Tallinn, you can take a bus to go to the city center. Follow this link to find a list of all airports in Estonia.
It is also easy to travel to Estonia by bus or train from any neighboring country. A ferry is operating between Helsinki and Tallinn.
How to get around?
Cities in Estonia are small enough to walk everywhere. However, there are also public buses available.

Money, Money, Money
Currency
Estonia is part of the Eurozone and therefore uses the Euro as its currency. Check out the currency converter to find out about current exchange rates.
Accommodation
Depending on where you are staying prices will vary of course. Using Airbnb, we paid an average of around 22€ per person per night.
Cash
Even though credit cards are widely accepted, you should still withdraw Euros at an ATM. How much you will need of course depends on your spending habits. Retrospective I found I needed around 40€ per day. This includes food, gas, ferry rides, activities and souvenirs. We did drive a lot though. Without the gas the average spending was around 25€ per day.
